Rental Terms

The renter is of legal age and agrees to the following:

That the boat, life-saving and safety equipment, as well as other gear, are present and in sound and flawless condition; and any destroyed or lost equipment will be replaced at current market value. Up to 12,000 DKK.

The lessor has taken all necessary precautions to prevent mechanical failures on the boat and motor.

Should such failures still occur, the lessor is not liable for them or any resulting consequences.

It is the renter's responsibility to inform the lessor in case of a delay in the return time. If this is not done and the lessor deems it necessary to initiate a search, the associated costs will be charged to the renter.

I declare that I am capable of operating the boat safely and responsibly. (The blood alcohol limit also applies at sea).

You are obligated to assist people in distress at sea and must give way to larger vessels (commercial ships, ferries).

Sailing is done at your own risk, and in the event of any accidents or mishaps, no claims for damages can be made against the lessor.

The navigation area is a maximum of 1500 meters from the shore.

All sailing less than 200 meters from the shoreline (swimming areas, beware of swimmers) must be done in idle with the tilt lock button released so that the motor can easily tilt up, and perpendicular to the shoreline.

All persons on board must wear the provided, approved life jackets appropriate for their weight at all times during the voyage.

You must seek harbor immediately in poor visibility or in the event of increasing winds.

Fuel is not included in the rental price.

The renter is obliged to inform the lessor of any defects in the rented equipment upon return.

The rented equipment is for the renter's use only, and may not be loaned or sublet to a third party.

The boat may only be used between sunrise and sunset.

The agreed legal venue is Rønne.

Sound signals are used in poor visibility. It consists of one long tone every two minutes.

This set of rules is also laminated in the emergency container.

Safety equipment such as flares and distress signals may only be used in case of emergency. An emergency is when there is a threat to the crew's life.

The renter assumes full responsibility for their use of the rented equipment in all respects.
